Melanie Wilson is Newport Medical Consultants’ office Operations Manager. She has been with the
Practice since October 2006. As a licensed nurse, she brings to this practice 19 years of medical office
experiences ranging from telephone triage, nursing responsibilities, and managing a large Family Practice
back office staff. Her role as Operations Manager decides what administrative support duties are needed
in all aspects of the office, by redefining duties in order to achieve maximum efficiency of all staff members.
She is responsible for reporting to the Physicians and acting as a liaison
administrative support. She will report progress made by
the departments in meeting company goals. She has
many interests outside the office, mainly keeping up with
3 growing boys. In addition, she is also a Nationally
Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer,
primarily teaching indoor cycling and weight training. This
